Point Man
The point man is, quite simply, the man that takes the 'point' in military operations. In their world, a point man takes this position in both the landscape of dreams, and in the negotiations of the waking world. And Arthur is, arguably, the very best in the business.

He is a man of intricacies and detail. He doesn't go into a mission without all of the facts laid out and organized properly. He doesn't appreciate disorder or plans that go awry, but is the best because he is able to recover from missteps. Everything about him from the three piece suits to the slicked hair is refined, honed and sharp, and it annoys him immensely when these things fall out of place.

But for all he forgets he's supposed to be a human amidst the rest of it, Arthur does have some redeeming qualities. He's loyal to a fault, incredibly protective of those deemed friends, and has an impossibly large soft spot for Cobb's children and ugly animals. The latter is not widely known. He has an impossible temper that runs cold instead of hot, and he is not quick to forget or forgive, but he'd sooner take a bullet in the head for a teammate than let them get hurt.

When given a job to complete, he gets it done. Invariably.

Canon!Verse: Contains anything leading up to and including the events of Inception and those that occur after.

Mafia!Verse: Arthur is the up and coming son of one of New York's most prevalent crime families. His life is continually made difficult by Eames, the adopted son of his father's main rival.
